About
Our Mission
Witnessing to Christ’s life, death and resurrection we will build a welcoming, transforming community which stands in solidarity with the poor and needy; challenging injustice and caring for the Earth.
Leadership Team
As an Anglican Church in the Diocese of Newcastle, we are structured as a Ministering Communities in Mission Parish. This means that we have a Ministry Team (Leads the various teams of the parish in Ministry) and a Resourcing Team (Responsible for finances and buildings) these Teams under the Leadership of the Rector are our Parish Council.
Our Ministry Team
Revd Bruce Perry
Bruce has been Rector of the Parish since May 2015. Originally from Canada, he has served in a number of parishes in this country and in Argentina. Most recently, he was Anglican Chaplain to the University of Newcastle. Bruce is married to Susan and has two grown children and a growing granddaughter. He is the only clergy person in the Diocese who drinks Argentine yerba mate and who follows the fortunes of the New Westminster Salmonbellies Lacrosse team. He loves to talk to anybody about the Lord Jesus Christ in English or in Spanish.
